Disrupt Design Method (DDM) workshops are built on our extensive curriculum in systems thinking, sustainability, design thinking and social innovation. Disruption requires changes to the current thinking models and practice sets, so that we can all make a positive impact on the world around us. This workshop is designed to make these required mindset shifts, build creative confidence, foster flexible out-of-the-box thinking, and build capacity in organizations and individuals to design solutions for complex problems.

The European Commission is spearheading adoption with an ambitious Circular Economy Package, which includes a suite of actions including revising legislative to close the loop on waste and stimulate Europe's transition towards a circular economy. Facilitators for our workshops are hand picked and trained by Disrupt Design’s CEO, with ongoing mentorship in advancing engaging training techniques.
We spent years finding the right mechanisms for transferring mental toolsets, and employ a range of unique facilitation tactics and learning methods to transform the way people think, see problems, relate to their coworkers and engage with complexity.
We use a unique method of facilitation that will keep your participants actively engaged and cerebrally stimulated, while laying the foundations for further self-initiated inquiry.
Our sessions are energetic, cognitively engaging, enlightening, provocative, challenging, transformative and fun.
THE DD FORMAT
Our workshops and services are designed to advance internal capacity around systems change. We have a unique set of analog systems mapping and intervention tools that we have taught thousands of people to apply to complex problem solving.
You will receive a curated experience that involves a mix of direct instruction, integrated thinking challenges and active workshop sessions. Most of our workshops involve the transfer of hard and soft skills, from thinking frameworks to techniques for mapping and discovery.
Expect to bust through myths around sustainability (with case studies), explore the background and development of sustainable development, start to move beyond sustainability towards regeneration, and the Sustainable Design Strategies you need to do so.
All workshops include systems thinking principles, mapping tools and techniques, dealing with complexity and chaos, overcoming linear reductive thinking, and the opportunities held within sustainability transitions.
