Each program offers certifications, online access and analytics for HR and training managers, stackable content to meet your specific in-house training needs, and custom-built branded portals for a seamless in-house experience.

Swivel Skills offers both pre-built packages for smaller teams as well as fully customized in-house learning experiences for 1,000+ employees.

SWIVEL SKILLS SUSTAINABILITY FOUNDATIONS PROGRAM

PART 1: Introduction to Sustainability
An introduction to sustainability terminology, how to take accountability and maintain integrity in business, and application to sustainability in the business context.

PART 2: Climate Literacy
An introduction to climate key terms and concepts, measuring impacts, and approaches on taking action. Case studies and an accompanying regulation guide are included.

PART 3: The Circular Economy
An introduction to what the circular economy is, benefits and opportunities, the transition from a linear to a circular economy. Case studies and an acronym decoder are included.

HOW WE DO IT

At Disrupt Design, we developed and use the Disruptive Design Method (DDM) to design all our workshops, commissions, projects and interventions. We teach the full methodology through our educational initiative, The UnSchool of Disruptive Design.

Using a unique multi-disciplinary approach that combines expertise from design thinking, sociology, environmental sciences, cognitive sciences, behavioral economics and systems thinking, our approach transfers knowledge and skills needed to apply productive boundary-pushing outcomes for activating sustainability and designing solutions for the circular economy.

We also offer workshops to teach the DDM to individuals, organisations, and in a “train-the-trainer” format for your in-house capacity building. The DDM is being used currently around the world in both international organizations and academic contexts. These workshops are offered in person and online (ready to go or with live session enhancements), depending on location, availability of trainers, and current border restrictions.

The Disruptive Design workshop far exceeded my expectations. The content has given me a practical way to delve into complex problems, exploring thinking far beyond my normal lines of inquiry, and to surface new areas for intervention and innovative ways of designing those interventions.
